International Women's Day: SUEZ launches the “CEO for a Day” initiative
On the occasion of International Women’s Day, SUEZ, world leader in environmental services, is offering young women an exclusive invitation opportunity to spend a day in the life of its Chairman and CEO, Sabrina Soussan.
This unique experience is designed to give women, aged between 19 and 25 and living in mainland France, an insight into the responsibilities of a top corporate leader. The selected winners will be immersed in the dynamic environment of a Group with 40,000 employees, present in 40 countries, which provides essential services to protect and improve the quality of life in the face of growing environmental challenges.
The day will be punctuated with a number of highlights from the SUEZ Chairman and CEO’s daily life: meetings with customer, site visits, discussions with the Executive Committee and the Group’s R&D teams, etc.
The initiative showcases SUEZ key commitments outlined in its sustainable development roadmap such as corporate diversity and inclusion. To create a more inclusive workplace, the Group’s Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) initiatives include a specific target of 40% female managers by 2027.
This operation also demonstrates SUEZ's commitment to the professional integration of students and young graduates. In this respect, SUEZ has just been awarded the "Engagement Jeunes" label, with the "Best in Class" distinction for its Human Resources policy. Each year, the Group welcomes and trains nearly 1,500 interns and work-study students from all backgrounds.
